Overcoming Anxiety: I prayed. I fasted. It didn't work.
There are some emotions in life that we simply can not avoid. Emotions that make life worth living. Emotions that make the highs, higher and freedom, freer. Anxiety, oddly enough, is one of them. Whether it’s before a big test, a date you’re excited about, or anticipating results of any kind. Anxiety is a momentary feeling of nervousness, fear, apprehension, and/or worrying.
Anxiety becomes bitter sweet only after you’ve broken through the barrier of anxiousness. It’s wave of relief hits you. A wave that wouldn’t have been as refreshing if we didn’t feel the anxiety in the first place.
But for some of us, we never get over that barrier.

This week's confession deals with anxiety head on, as Shanise Ollie, owner of Belle Rebel Boutique, brand builder, wife , mother, and minister shares how her moments of anxiety extended to minutes to a paralyzing, suffocating experience which led her to embarrassment and shame.
Listen to her confess that as she searched for a solution, even as believer, praying, fasting, and reading, didn’t work.
